Taking a break

Prospect House in London

Hello Friends!  At the beginning of the year my husband retired from his career as a mail carrier.  It was an early retirement and one that we weren't actually planning for quite yet.  For several years, we have been maintaining a small online resale business and have been growing that business in the last several months as well.  These two things combined have led to quite a bit of change in our home and in my schedule.  All that to say, I am struggling to find time to write book reviews.  When I do have some time, I would much rather read a book or visit one of your blogs ๐Ÿ˜Š.  So, I will be taking a blogging break for a while to get settled in to this new routine.  I'm sure you will see me around as I love visiting your blogs.

  3. Blogger seems to want to prevent me from leaving comments anywhere, but I shall persevere!

May this life transition go smoothly. Although I'll miss your reviews, take all the time you need. We'll still be here when you come back.

  4. A break sounds like a good idea until you find out how your new routine is going to work. When my husband worked from home for 2 years during the pandemic, I was like: Whoa! It certainly changes everything. Enjoy your time away.

  6. Ha, ha! When I saw that picture, I thought your news was going to be that you are moving to England! Nothing quite that dramatic, but still life changing. It is certainly time to have a break, and I understand about just wanting to read for reading's sake. I have lots of reading suggestions I have collected from you. I hope you will weather well and even come to enjoy the many changes on the horizon. God bless you and your husband. (lghiggins)

  9. Awe! I understand the change of routine. I got behind because my son had seizures and was in the hospital and then we had a baby lol.
I hope you're enjoying your break and you're reading some good books!
