My name is Gretchen. I love to read and talk about books. I love mysteries, but am an eclectic reader. I read classics, memoirs, biographies, historical fiction, Christian Fiction, middle grade fiction and non-fiction, Christian suspense, cozy mysteries and whatever else strikes my fancy. I believe, with Charlotte Mason, that "...we feed upon the thoughts of other minds; and thought applied to thought generates thought and we become more thoughtful." Also, "the best thought the world possesses is stored in books". (A Philosophy of Education by Charlotte M. Mason).
This blog will chronicle my bookish journey, but also may include other things from my daybook. I hope it will be an encouragement to those who stop by.
